The collection consists of a brief history of Laird Park, named for Allison W. Laird, late general manager of the Potlatch Lumber Co.; a memorandum of understanding between the Potlatch company and the U.S. government concerning logging rights-of-way; and materials relating to the dedication of the park. These items are duplicates withdrawn from the Potlatch Corporation papers housed at the University of Idaho. Also included is a photocopy of the Potlatch Forests, Inc. directors' meeting of May 24, 1938, from the Laird, Norton Company records, University of Washington.
